First you need to take or leave the part which has a carving, while enough to take a clean rag or cloth without water unless given a special oil to cleaning antique furniture that has been available in stores. Choose one that is about it from sticking, apply a little on a cloth and then wipe parts of the antique furniture which is then followed by wiping with a dry cloth.
Parts that have carved you can use with a brush made of animal fur. Choose one that has a soft texture that will preserve and not damage the surface of antique furniture. fairly easy to you, please you can practice at home or your servant could tell.

The carving is always the tough part. I'm not comfortable with animal fur. But, a damp cloth and a brush usually get the job done. Thanks!
